Our Golf Course

Shawnee State Park Lodge Golf Course offers a beautiful 18-hole championship course situated along the scenic banks of the Ohio River that will challenge even the most experienced golfer. This attractive and demanding course was built in 1980 and was designed by Jack Kidwell and Mike Hurdzan.

Measuring 6,407 yards from the white tees, this par 72 course spans over 250 acres and has a slope rating of 114 and USGA rating of 69.7. The velvety greens consist of bent grass with eight ponds and forty-four sand bunkers. The result is 18-signature holes offering a day of exciting and memorable play, but our signature hole is #5, a par four overlooking the beautiful Ohio River.

Shawnee State Park Lodge Golf Course offers all the amenities needed to make for a great golf outing. Golf carts are available. The convenient pro shop offers a complete line of golf necessities and services including a snack bar and our full-service practice facility invites you to work on your swing.

The Head Golf Professional is Tyson Phillips.  Phillips is a native to southern Ohio and his career as a golf pro includes clubs in Ohio, Georgia and Kentucky. Phillips is available for individual golf lessons (30 minutes), group lessons, clinics, 3-day golf schools and golf etiquette and rule classes.

Standard Tee Time Policies

Tee times will be accepted one week prior to the day of desired play. Weekday tee times are available 8:00 a.m through 4:00 p.m. and weekend tee times are available 7:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. All Shawnee Lodge guests may make their advance tee times up to one month prior to the arrival date as long as they provide a room reservation confirmation number.

• 9 Holes: $12.00 per person
• 18 Holes: $20.00 per person

Weekends:

• 9 Holes: $14.00 per person
• 18 Holes: $22.00 per person

Super Thursdays:  $28.00 for 18 holes with cart

Golf Cart: 

• 9 holes for $9.00
• 18 Holes for $16.00

Cart required on weekends and holidays prior to 1:30 p.m.
